What can you do with the EcoFlow PowerInsight?

Centralized control of your smart energy ecosystem

The EcoFlow PowerInsight is a central dashboard that allows installers to manage multiple EcoFlow products, including the PowerOcean (single‑phase and three‑phase), PowerOcean Plus (three‑phase), PowerOcean DC Fit, EcoFlow Smart Plug and the PowerPulse 2. The device currently supports select third‑party Matter‑compatible products such as Shelly smart plugs and Ecobee thermostats. Future updates will add more device categories including lighting, HVAC systems, and smart outlets.

Manage multiple devices with one account

You can control multiple devices via a single account, and connect up to 16 Matter devices. There is no limit on the number of PowerInsight units you can register on one account. Note: the system does not support voice control, LAN connection, or firmware updates for connected devices.

How to add Matter devices

To add a Matter device, first pair PowerInsight through the EcoFlow app via: Settings > Matter > Bind Matter, then scan the generated QR‑code with your smartphone. Make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi network, as dual‑band routers may cause connection issues. To add the EcoFlow Smart Plug, use the app (don’t scan the QR‑code directly) to access advanced functions.

Installation, power and features

Mount the EcoFlow PowerInsight on the wall; an optional stand is available for tabletop placement. The device includes a built‑in 3000 mAh battery and can operate for over 3 hours without mains power. The dashboard is equipped with smart sensors for temperature, light, and proximity, so the screen lights up automatically or energy management strategies activate based on environmental conditions.
