Van der Valk Alu. Side profile - extra long

Van der Valk's aluminium Side profiles are essential in ValkPitched - Clamp mounting systems on pitched roofs. Previously, all Van der Valk Side profiles were only suitable for solar panels with a maximum panel width of 1016mm, but thanks to the extra long Side profiles, new generation solar panels with a maximum panel width of 1052mm can also be mounted quickly and efficiently. The VDV701902370 has a length of 2370mm and is suitable for two panels with a width of 1134mm.

The mounting of the extra long Side profiles is the same for every roof hook. For example, the profiles are secured to the roof hook by means of hammerhead bolts. The hammerhead bolts are mounted in the slots on the sides of the profile and then tightened with a flange nut. It is important that the head of the bolt is properly placed in the slot, to prevent the profile from coming loose from the roof hook.
